Why need a dissertation sample? Did it really help?

Most students are “first timers” and need thorough and expert guidance from someone skilled. What’s more, teachers may not be available to the students all the time, and in fact, may have even less time at the end of the semester. dissertations sample can be a blessing for students because most students are not familiar with the writing and formatting skills of thesis research and writing. dissertation sample can be used… Continue

Colleges are Failing

David Leonhardt of the New York Times recently wrote an eye opening article entitled "Colleges are Failing in Graduation Rates." The full article can be found online at http://www.nytimes.com/2009/09/09/business/economy/09leonhardt.html?_r=1&ref=education.

He mentions that at the University of Massachusetts, only 33% of freshmen graduate within 6 years. It's an extreme, b… Continue

Are non-verbal cues all that important?

Last week the Wall Street Journal (www.wsj.com - Mark Bauerlein) had an article about Gen Y not being able to "read" each other. Which got me thinking "Is non-verbal communication" all that important? Is the sound of a person voice or the smile on their face needed? Nielsen Mobile reported late last year that teenagers on average sent and received 2,272 texts per month. A year earlier the National School Boards Association estimated that middle an… Continue

How are teens impacting the way technology is developed? How are these technologies scaling into businesses? And what about the teens themselves- are they creating companies? Who’s investing in their firms and how to choose the winners? These are just some of the questions that will be addressed during this exceptional program.

The mobile/wireless industry is experiencing exciting dramatic changes philosophically (Mobile Operators) and technologically (mobile developers of technology and content) to international protocol alliances.

We focus on the responsibilities of living in an economic community. Because our capitalist economic model runs on individual choice and offers little opportunity for collective action, the majority of people acting in our economy think seldom about their role as an "economic citizen" and do little to exercise the limited amount of responsibility they have in their control. "Citizenship" has historically described the rights and duties of being a member of a political community, and we will now define it as an economic one.

In this project on economic citizenship pupils make their own recycled products and create their own virtual local, national, European or international business. They learn about sustainability and the environment. They sell and promote their products at a school fair and help collect a modest amount of money to provide for a better way of living for children all over the world, invested in learning materials and education. They will try and work together with pupils from another country and even continent. Through an online moodle course on eConomy they will learn about the distribution of wealth in the world, Fair Trade, sustainable development and how to start a business on a local, national, or international level, the opportunities of the international market and the protection of the European Union.
What Do the Marketers Know About Teens? How Do You Invest in Teens as Consumers and Entrepreneurs? Teens are using technology to communicate like no generation before them – mobile text messaging, IM, MySpace pages, video cell phones and online video games, etc…. Technology permeates their lives and their interests drive innovation in a significant way.

At the same time, in addition to spending money on technology, teens are emerging as innovators in the industry as well. These young entrepreneurs are changing our world-using fresh tech-savvy ideas to create new businesses and garnering the attention of investors in the process.

BEST PROJECT offers an online course for secondary school students and provides many ways for sponsoring organizations and leading developers, entrepreneurs, and business leaders to generate visibility and connect with Teens. Opportunities include the sponsorship of Teens Virtual Companies of 14-16 year olds around the world and leading workshops during seminars and special events. Depending on a sponsor’s goals and the level of sponsorship, a package of benefits can be designed to target a narrow audience or a broader group in the educational field and may include event naming and recognition as well as publicity, marketing and promotional opportunities.
